GRAND FINAL NNDC UNY 2012

In room one, teams who proceeded to the grand final were UI B and UI C.

While it contradicted with the decision-taking in room two. The adjudicators finally concluded to have a consensus to have the winner in room 2 for the semifinal round. A team from Paramadina University A and UNY A had to stop struggling to get the champion. It meant that teams who went to the grand final round is all-three-UI-teams and UNS.

Meanwhile, this can be a good stepping stone for the newbies of EDS UNY. It was their first BP tournament and it was even their first debate competition. Nonetheless we can see the hard effort coming from all EDS UNY squads in this tournament that could not be neglected merely because of their losing in the knock-out rounds. We hope EDS UNY will get another great champions in the future.

The grand final was full of yellow color for debaters from UNS didn't bring any of their "jas almamater".  With Ines (chair), Satrio, Intan, Tya, Fajri, Novel and Mia as the adjudicators, this round run under the motion This House Regrets the Decline of American Supremacy and the Advent of a Multipolar World. 

The standing position was:

OG → UI A, OO → UI B, CG → UI C, CO → UNS

The result for this grand final:

Universitas Indonesia C as the Champion

Universitas Indonesia A as the 1st Runner Up

Universitas Indonesia B as the 2nd Runner Up

Universitas Negeri Sebelas Maret as the 3rd Runner Up
